DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE
The BDM Universal consists of a stable basic construction with the following assemblies:

• Cardboard stacks with carton guides and bogus unit This complete unit can be swung out, ensuring excellent accessibility for adjustment and maintenance.
• Magazine for non-stop cover material feed
• Lowerable gluing unit. The glue pot is double-walled, heated by hot water. Heating is thermostatically controlled. Glue is constantly being circulated.
• Merging and pressing station
Glue application, merging and pressing takes place in a continuous, rotating mode of operation.
• Transport device
With swing arm and suction device
• Front, rear and corner wrapping unit
• Side wrapping device
• 2nd pressing unit and delivery


ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT
• Counter-stacker with return transport to the operator in stacks.
• Pre-stacking belt with central adjustment, which can be swiveled away from the machine.

OPTIONS
• Guide rail after the reference stack for guiding very lobed cover material, in order to avoid folding as much as possible
• Pneumatic additional pressing device in the reference stack, useful with wavy cover material
• Support rails for the processing of one-piece covers
• Automatic, computer-controlled format adjustments
