We bought this brand new in April 2017. It saw a year of action till we upgraded our press room to an 8 UP 5 Color Press. This press is now lightly used - few jobs in a week. So very low miles. 14 million - last reading Jan 2019 (see picture).
It is a great printing press. Fast Make Ready, Low wastage, and great for a short run to long run jobs. Pre-Press is very simple - as you just create the press-ready files and send them to the press. The plates are made on the press and are at 300 lines screen. So images come out sharp.
The plate cost for a 4 color job is around $35-$40 (based on volume).
For the RIP you can use a Xitron Navigator RIP, which I will highly recommend. A RIP with a brand new computer will run you around $5k. I would recommend getting the latest one and will refer you to the correct vendor.
The Press is in Santa Clara. For Rigging - I have 2 vendors who I will recommend. For Installation and Training - I will recommend either Presstek or PFS. I will hook you up with both the vendors.
